The day my dad died.

I 've been in Colorado a spell; my dad died recently. In his sleep I've found a wake up call in appreciating this life, and the value of a man's word. So many of the good things he was is lacking in myself. I am better off living by his example. He was a man of his word.

Today, this day, I long to be as he a man of my word. That I am reliable and trustworthy and full of closet acts of kindness.

My dad's example was rooted in his own experience of overcoming the old self. My Dad changed because of his faith. I value this immensely.

It was surreal the whole experience, when your dad dies. It challenges your paradigms, but moves not your founfation.

  My dad was amazing.
