No Greater Gift

“By grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God.” - Ephesians 2:8.

Faith is the greatest of all gifts. To believe in The One He sent...its not lip service friends, but it speaks loudly to the observer. It's a new life and way and hope and truth and it is forged by God's purposed humility upon a heart throughout a life. There aint no prayer for a sinner good enough to compel God to act. Children, your name was known long before you ever arrived on this rock. He knows you, knew you and always will. I sit here right now with very little. I never was a man of great means. I never had faith in myself and have cried more than most men I know. Lots of self inflicted pain here believe that.  I always took the long roads home because I never wanted to stand still. I've always ran. Always. But in my days now, at 44, I have no more run left in me. At the end of the day, and at my last breath I know it will not be love on my lips, but faith in my heart that will lead me to the The  Father.

This walk with Jesus is a liquid organic spiritual experience. The ways God speaks in the lives of those He has called is downright ridiculous miraculous and awe inspiring. It has quelled fear and trembling within me enough times to know His leading me through despite myself in this life is such an act of His power and love. We are individually loved so much that words will never impart how it is He saves us. He saves me daily, and I can assure you, I will never feel worthy enough, or grateful enough.

I am such a loser in this lost world. I can hardly go a day without doing something that drives me to prayer and petition. I hardly ever have more than 20 bucks on me. But I have faith. This can never be shaken or taken. I believe that Jesus is God's Son, who died and rose on the 3rd day for forgiveness of sins, for life eternal, in whose name I call upon, believe in and run to. I can be stranded upon an island in the middle of nowhere, but He will be there. I can be facing the dagger of my enemy, He is my shield. I can be covered in tears over many lost years, but He is my redeemer. I can have nowhere to run and nowhere to go but I'll never alone. I have faith. I am loved. It's really, all that matters.
