"Where two or more are gathered in my name, there I shall be..."
Often I wonder why, Jesus a carpenter never built a church. On the contrary, He spoke of the Solomon's Temple being destroyed as the true temple would not take residence in walls of silver and gold. His sealed presence within believers following Pentecost was the Cornerstone that His Church would be built upon. The church is not where we assemble, but when we come together, two or more. Church is a verb, not a noun. We have built millions of churches of wood and stone, while the lights of our hearts need to be scattered in the darkness. Now is the time to take a path into the places where Jesus and His power is rightly manifest through us. Out in the dark. Scattered like salt to season this world.
What church do you belong to? His body is our church. The spiritual power and purpose of Christ's presence within is largely denied by corporate Christianity. God's favor is not security in this world in which we live, but purpose in a world that needs saved. We are saved to save others, and His Spirit leads us to the sheep lost in deception and bondage. They are everywhere and many. This world needs God's salvation in Christ now, right now.
Pray today, Lord send me. In Jesus name.
